The short version: Kangaroo Workout collects nothing about you. Everything happens on your device. This is true under every applicable privacy regime, GDPR, CCPA, PIPL, because there is no personal data flowing anywhere we could be a data controller of.
Nothing. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, location, age, contacts, photos, microphone, calendar, or anything else.
The five bundled workouts and their exercise illustrations. That's it. The app does not log which workouts you ran, when you ran them, or your performance, anywhere outside your own device.
If you use the Apple Watch companion and grant HealthKit permission, the Watch app writes your workout session (type and duration) into Apple Health so it counts toward your Move ring and Activity rings. That data lives in Apple Health on your device under Apple's own privacy controls. We do not read it, copy it, or transmit it anywhere.
Nothing during normal use. Every illustration, every workout definition, every exercise detail is bundled into the app at install time. The app makes no network calls during a workout.
If you opt in to share diagnostics with developers through your iOS Settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers), Apple may share anonymized crash reports with us. We use these only to fix the bug that crashed your session. They contain no personal information.
None. Kangaroo Workout does not implement any tracking, advertising, or analytics SDKs. No cookies. No identifiers. No fingerprinting.
These regulations give you rights, access, correction, deletion, portability, over personal data that a company holds about you. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or hand over. Delete the app and the local data goes with it. There is no remote copy.
The app is suitable for ages 4 and up. We don't collect data from anyone, including children.
If Kangaroo Workout ever starts collecting any data, this page will be updated and the change will be highlighted at the top of the app on the first launch after the change ships.
