The workouts in Kangaroo Workout are what one person does, not a recommendation that you do them. Before starting any new exercise program, talk to your doctor, especially if you have a heart condition, joint or back issues, are pregnant, are recovering from injury or surgery, or have not exercised in some time. Will my workouts log to Apple Health?
Yes, if you have the Apple Watch companion on your wrist and grant HealthKit permission. The app records the workout type and duration into Health automatically.
Can I add my own exercises?
Not in this version. Kangaroo Workout ships with five curated workouts. They're what we use, and they're the whole app.
Does it work without an Apple Watch?
Yes. The iPhone app is the main experience; the Watch companion is a bonus that lets the workout count toward your Move ring and shows up in Health.
What about rest timers between sets?
HIIT runs on a strict 20-second countdown. Strength workouts (Day A, Day B, Standard, Ultra) are self-paced, you tap to advance when you're ready for the next exercise.
Kangaroo Workout is built by Urban Algorithm, LLC, the same small studio behind Mò. We make apps that respect their users: no accounts, no ads, no dark patterns. This one is the workout routine that one of us actually does, packaged so you can do it too.
